Journey to Batuu [Light Tablet 3D model] for game engines, 3D printing, and set design
After experiencing the Journey to Batuu content pack in the Sims 4, I was inspired to create some 3D models based on some of my favorite assets from that game expansion. Included in this portfolio piece is a light tablet recreation of the version seen in the Sims 4 Journey to Batuu content pack.
The recreated light tablet has been placed in a previously built Star Wars Unreal Engine scene for the viewer of the piece. This model was purpose built for 3D printing and building at a 1:1 scale in my prop and costume making pursuits outside of games development.
The Sims 4 offered up a content expansion based on Star Wars Galaxy's Edge, featuring assets and game content from Batuu. This light tablet is a 3D asset included in that content pack.

Utilizing a Star Wars scene I previously created, I placed the light tablet I modeled into the scene for viewing in a Star Wars Unreal Engine setting. This container is an effort at recreating the Sims 4 version for use in game engines and 3d printing.
